Zara is a fast fashion brand for middle class Americans, those who probably don’t make 6 figure annual incomes. It’s slightly better than H&M and Old Navy, but not as good as J Crew or CK. Zara is basically a poor-man’s newest fashion. The design principle for Zara is to look at the current season’s high fashion, and make something similar at a much cheaper price and much poorer quality. In other words, Zara looks at what Versace did at New York Fashion week, makes something similar, and pushes it as fast as possible to the consumer.

It makes zero sense that someone like Melania would wear Zara because it’s (poor) quality and (borrowed/botched) design. So why out of all the high end clothing out there, does Melania choose this “peasant” brand? And out of everything Zara has to offer, she picks this particular jacket with big ass white letters on her back? And this is not Melania’s choice. She’s been in high fashion for most of her adult life, I doubt she’d deliberately choose a Zara jacket out of her wardrobe of haute couture. It depends on how close you were with your father and how his death affected you. If you and your father were close and his death was sudden and unexpected, then wearing a shirt like that to his funeral might be a way for you to cope with your grief. However, if your relationship with your father was strained or if his death was expected, then wearing a shirt like that to his funeral might not be appropriate.
